Our values
-
Safety
We implement the highest international safety standards, teach local residents how to deal with mines and projectiles, and clear the land of explosive objects.
-
Responsibility
Every decision we make is based on transparency and deep responsibility towards society and partners. There is no room for randomness in demining and rehabilitation work - only clear calculation, quality control and transparency at all stages.
-
Collaboration
We cooperate with government structures, international partners, and society. The great challenges - demining the country and supporting veterans - cannot be overcome alone. Only in unity can we achieve real change.
-
Efficiency
Our approach is strategy, analysis and operational efficiency, which give the maximum result in the shortest time. We act professionally, precisely and carefully - we work for the result, not the process.
-
Self-development
We believe that the path to a strong society begins with personal development. That is why we support constant education and professional development of our specialists
-
Respect
We show respect for war veterans by recognizing their service, supporting their rights, ensuring access to opportunities, and caring for their physical and psychological well-being.
About the foundation
"The Return to Life" Charity Foundation

The Charitable Foundation “Return to Life” was founded in 2015 as a response to the growing needs of communities and veterans affected by war.
Since then, we have implemented a number of projects to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and reintegration of veterans into peaceful life.
Since 2024, the Foundation has been fully operational as a certified mine action operator.
Our main goal is to clear Ukrainian lands of mines and explosive remnants of war, ensure the safety of communities and return them to a full life.
We have combined a team of experienced specialists, modern technical equipment and international standards in order to carry out humanitarian demining effectively, transparently and with respect for every resident of the affected territories.
Our areas of activity:
- Humanitarian demining (non-technical and technical survey of territories, demining)
- Informing the population about the risks associated with explosive objects
- Support for veterans, rehabilitation, training and employment
- Restoration of safe infrastructure and life conditions, agricultural and economic activities
Our priorities
Demining of Ukraine
Restoring infrastructure, preserving the lives and safety of the country's population.
Veteran support
Veterans are the foundation of national dignity. We strive to provide them with decent rehabilitation, physical and psychological support, and integration into peaceful life.
Supporting community development
We create conditions for sustainable development by providing access to clean land for housing, agriculture, and infrastructure.
Gender equality
One of the key priorities of the foundation is that women in our team have equal opportunities in all areas of work.
Improving the quality of life
We strive to create conditions for Ukrainian families which will allow them to feel safe, and returning to peaceful life will become possible for millions.
Environmental protection
We strive to minimize the negative impact on nature in all aspects of our activities. We implement rational use of resources, prevent environmental pollution, and make environmentally responsible decisions.
Certificates
Our credentials are verified
The charity foundation has passed the relevant state certification and received the official right to carry out activities in the field of humanitarian demining. This confirms the compliance of our work with national and international standards of safety, quality and transparency.
We have the necessary permits and certificates that allow us to legally and professionally conduct demining operations and inform the population about the risks associated with explosive objects and remnants of war on the territory of Ukraine, in particular in areas affected by hostilities.
This status emphasizes our reliability and responsibility to communities, donors and partners.
