After the active phase of hostilities, a large number of explosive objects — mines, shells, and ammunition remnants — remain in the liberated territories. This poses a serious threat to the local population, utility workers, farmers, and humanitarian organizations.

The “Return to Life” Charity Fund is conducting a systematic cleanup of areas where hostilities were fought.

Our work includes:

• Initial non-technical survey of territories;
• Identification and marking of dangerous areas;
• Technical survey and manual/mechanized demining
• Disposal or safe removal of explosive objects;
• Providing recommendations for the further safe use of land.

We are working with local authorities, the State Emergency Service, international partners and communities to return people to a safe life as soon as possible, restore infrastructure and economic activity.
