The “Return to Life” Charity Foundation is currently undergoing certification for 5 key humanitarian demining processes!

These processes include: non-technical survey, technical survey, manual demining of the area, ORDB and public awareness. Certification is carried out by the State Certification Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. This procedure will confirm our compliance with the highest standards in the field of demining and will allow us to more effectively assist in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The certification process consists of several stages: application submission, document review, on-site assessment and issuance of certificates. The reconstruction of Ukraine begins with demining!

Basic components of manual demining

The main components of manual demining include: ● Maintaining the constant readiness of our personnel and equipment for demining operations; ● Searching, detecting and neutralizing mines, string lights and other explosive remnants of war using metal detectors and special equipment and transferring them to the authorized bodies for further destruction; ● Conducting internal quality control of the performed manual demining works; ● Creating safe conditions for the use of the territory after its clearance; ● Implementing measures for occupational safety and health; ● Accounting and reporting on the results of manual demining works; ● Conducting external quality control by authorized bodies; ● Transferring land to final beneficiaries. Manual demining works can be carried out separately or in combination with other demining methods. In addition, we provide support and rehabilitation of our heroic veterans, helping them find their place in peaceful life. We help with adaptation, a new profession, employment. We continuously support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, providing resources and assistance so that our soldiers can effectively defend our country and ensure peace for each of us. A Memorandum of Understanding was concluded with the Snihuriv City Military Administration on cooperation in the field of demining.

In order to effectively cooperate and coordinate actions in the field of humanitarian demining, the Charitable Foundation “Return to Life” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Snihuriv City Military Administration of Mykolaiv Region (Snihuriv AH). “This Memorandum is an important step in the fight to clear the land of the dirt of war. Together we will ensure the safety of the population of the Snihuriv community and reduce the risks from explosive objects,” said Kateryna Skrypnikova, Director of the Charitable Foundation. Main areas of cooperation: conducting activities in the field of PMD on the territory of the Snihuriv City Military Administration in coordination with the National Authority for Mine Action; protecting the interests of citizens of Ukraine, supporting people affected by the war; information and educational work on the risks of explosive objects; exchange of information and experience in the field of humanitarian demining; promoting the development and implementation of international and local programs in the field of humanitarian demining, etc. Within the framework of this partnership, the Foundation, as an operator of the PMD, can perform the following demining processes: non-technical survey of agricultural land plots; informing the population about the risks associated with mines and explosive remnants of war; humanitarian demining of agricultural land plots by manual and/or mechanized methods with subsequent cleaning of them from remnants of war. We remind you that earlier the Charity Foundation concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of demining with the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. Recovery begins with demining!
