The Charity Foundation has carried out a non-technical survey (NTS) of 94 hectares of land within the Hostomel settlement territorial community of the Bucha district, Kyiv region.

Humanitarian demining specialists conducted the survey to identify potentially hazardous areas that may be contaminated with explosive ordnance.

During the work, the team interviewed local residents, analyzed open sources, and conducted a visual inspection of the area. Based on the survey results, several territories were identified that require further technical survey or demining.

All activities were carried out in accordance with national standards and with full adherence to safety measures. The collected data will help to plan the next stages of clearing Kyiv region’s territories from explosive hazards more effectively.
