The 28th International Meeting of National Mine Action Directors and UN Advisors (NDM-UN28) was held in Geneva. It is a key annual global platform for exchanging experiences, developing strategic decisions and shaping policy in the field of mine action.

Over the course of three days, the conference brought together international donors, UN advisors, PMA operators, scientists, representatives of international organizations, the private sector and civil society from around the world.

The Charitable Foundation “Back to Life” took part in the conference, presenting Ukrainian experience in the field of humanitarian demining.

This meeting became an important platform for establishing contacts, exchanging views on current challenges in the field of PMA and building effective international cooperation.

NDM-UN28 was held under the theme “Safe futures start here”.

Special attention was paid during the event to the situation in Ukraine – prospects, challenges and ways to strengthen humanitarian demining to preserve the lives and safety of the population.
